Cheap and cheerful accommodation in excellent location. We've stayed in London a few times and this is certainly one of the better areas. Easy access to most of what you need to see in London. If you can try and get a room or one of the upper floors as some of the views across London are spectacular. The restaurant is particularly good although the serving staff didn't seem too happy to be there. The reception staff however were brilliant - cheerful and nothing was too much trouble.
Good place to stay. Bed comfy and big. Air conditioning (I was there in the heatwave). Walk in shower. Room not big, but adequate. Milk etc can be restock in lobby. No biscuits. Liquid soap, shower and hairwash come in wall mounted dispensers.

We were staying here during July when it was very hot weather! The hotel was really stifling, however there was a fan in each of the rooms which did circulate air and helped to keep a room a little bit cooler. Our room was looking into the centre of the building so it was cooler but I know those rooms looking out to the street were very hot indeed largely because the windows couldn't be opened far. The rooms were as you'd expect from a Travelodge. Beds comfortable and the room fairly clean. The bathroom could have done with a better deep clean and there was a slightly strange smell coming from our one. The staff always seemed to be polite and helpful. The location of this Travelodge is ideal if you are sightseeing in London. 5 minute walk from Kings Cross Station into the tube. A few bars surrounding the hotel and some great wee cafes for having breakfast or lunch in. A good base if you are out all day.
Very helpful staff, quickly changed our room after we found cold water not working in first one. Provided fans for hot weather, and chilled water in lobby. Clean room, good size but bathroom small. Short walk to kings cross for transport links.

This was out first every international trip and our anniversary. The hotel and its staff was amazing. Ema helped us check in and advised us that our room didn't have AC but was able to get us into a room with AC in 2 days. She even provided us with a wonderful bottle of wine for our anniversary. The manager also provided us with champagne and macaroons to celebrate! Both rooms were wonderful. The upgraded rooms are comfortable and stylish. The layout of our particular room, with the TV, was a little weird but insignificant compared to how much we enjoyed our time there. The standard king room was nice, and we were provided with a little fan which helped with no AC. Loved being able to open to windows and hear the sounds of the street. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The room service was amazing. The location was perfect! Within walking distance to basically everything, right in front of the Covent Gardens. We will always come back to this hotel!
Great food. Stayed for a work trip. Standard single room. Both times I stayed was comfortable and had all I needed. Fan in the room too, which was helpful as the standard rooms do not have air con. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location for seeing London too.

London's best kept secret. Don't let the exterior fool yout; the beer is on point and the restaurant produces food your nan would be proud of. All for an honest price.
A unique place with great food! Colourful service, unpretentious and honest. Highly recommended.

A nice venue and friendly staff, located opposite one train station and around the corner from another. I've never felt worried leaving the venue late, but the area isn't particularly inviting - in fact it's a bit dreary. Somewhere between hipster and spit and sawdust - drink choices seem to be mostly craft (or brands I'm not familiar with) and therefore more expensive (not break the bank, but more than you might otherwise pay). Gents facilities are kept clean and are pretty good for a pub toilet - can't comment on the ladies. Nice pub if you are in the area but it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way for.
Great pub ! Friendly staff, good prices and nice atmosphere.

Could have done with some proper air con in this terribly hot weather. I felt so sorry for the staff behind the bar who could stand up the giant fans that had been set up. Usually love it here, but it was the hottest day of the year and we almost melted. Fabulous and cosy in the winter though!
The noise level when busy - poor acoustic - renders the Warwick annoyingly uncomfortable for anyone who might just want to hold a conversation with those sharing their table. The menu's a bit limited, but the food is pretty decent cooking, well presented if unmemorable. It's claim to be a gastro pub is stretching things more than a tad though. The service is casual at best, but friendly enough. If your not looking for anything fancy in the grub stakes, are a little less demanding than me and my friends clearly, or you want to practice your sign language... then you'll be fine.

Excellent - fabulous cottage booked in Threlkeld, Lake District. No hassle and very easy to book. Would definitely book again.
Booking was totally painless and ,we had a choice of potential places to stay. Acting through the agent kept a certain professional distance as a safety and peace of mind feature btween the owners agents and us the bookers.

What a fantastic spot! Friendly hosts, cozy, quiet and clean rooms. The best English breakfast I've ever had. Highly recommended.
My partner and I stayed at the grove over the weekend and what a trest. Really comfy bed and breakfast to die for we think we just found our new home every time we visit London.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
